Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Upload a video to YouTube (you can keep it private or unlisted if you prefer)
Step 2: YouTube will create automatic captions for your video (this may take a few hours depending on your video length). You can view this automatic captions by clicking on the “Show Transcription” button on YouTube.
Here’s an example of where you can find it:
Step 3: On the right side of your video you’ll see text for auto-generated video captions:
Step 4: If you see the time-stamps, click on the “3 dots” then click on “Toggle timestamps” to turn these off
Step 5: Now you can select the text, copy it and paste it into your word processing document
