Have you ever seen those stories online from people in a Facebook group, a YouTube video or maybe even an ad, where they’re celebrating all these amazing wins from their digital marketing?

They’ve somehow acquired a bunch of new clients really quickly in 7, 14 or maybe 30 days.

And you might be thinking…

  • “Why can’t I get results like this?”
  • “Why is it taking so long?”
  • “What am I doing wrong?”

If you’ve ever thought that, don’t worry, you’re not alone.

But you need to remember one important fact:

What you actually SEE online is only the tip of the iceberg.

How to get fast digital marketing results

What you don’t actually see is the amount of work that happens behind the scenes to get fast results.

So in this article, I’ll show you what you need to do to get FASTER results with your digital marketing, funnels and client acquisition strategy.

And in this article, I’ll show you how you can get new clients for your service-based professional business FAST.

The truth about getting ‘fast results’

Often business owners who claim to get insanely good results really fast, don’t tell you ALL the work that happens behind the scenes.

Sometimes it can take people months or even years of refining their messaging, funnel, ads, follow up emails etc to get results quickly.

So while it might look like they suddenly got results in 30 days, it actually took a lot longer.

A quick example of this is Russell Brunson.

In a video he made, he breaks down how he made $3 Million in a 3 hour presentation.

And while it’s true that he did make a lot of sales in a short amount of time, it still took him YEARS of refining his message, creating a good product and having strong systems in place in his business before he could achieve something like that.

So if you haven’t gotten the quick results you’re looking for yet, don’t give up.

Don’t compare your 10th step in business with someone else’s 100th step, either.

Everyone is at different stages, some people will be ahead compared to where you are right now. However, that doesn’t mean that you’re not going to get results, it just means that you have to be patient and keep working to get faster results.

That being said…

Is there anything you CAN do to get faster results?

Yes!

And just to clarify, when I say get faster ‘results’, I’m talking about getting more leads, sales appointments, and clients predictably every month in your business as quickly as realistically possible.

Here are a few tips to help you get faster results.

How to get fast digital marketing results (key points):

  1. Prioritize your time on the right areas of your business
  2. Solve a big painful problem for your potential clients
  3. Spend money on paid advertising
  4. Learn from other people’s mistakes to fast track your results
  5. Use technology to automate as much as you can

Here’s how you can do each of these steps in more detail:

1. Prioritize your time on the right areas of your business

Make sure that what you’re doing on a daily basis is work that is going to contribute to getting results.

I see this mistake happening so many times with other people. They focus on busy work in their business, but these things don’t directly contribute to you getting more leads, more appointments, and more clients.

That leads to getting slower results.

An example of this in action is posting social media updates, trying to get more likes, followers and brand awareness. Those things are nice, but it’s a painfully slow way to actually get any leads, appointments and clients. You need to focus on what brings in results.

2. Solve a big painful problem for your potential clients

If you don’t actually solve a big painful problem for your clients, then it doesn’t matter how much time or money you spend on your marketing… You’re going to get very slow results.

You have to identify:

Who is your target audience?

What is the big problem that you solve for your target audience?

For example, one of the type of businesses I work with is financial advisors. So I’ve created a lot of advice on how financial advisors can use digital marketing.

This is just one type of client that I work with. I do the same thing for a variety of clients as you can see from these case studies.

As soon as you find out what big problem you can solve for your target audience, you’ll see how much quicker and easier it is to get results from ALL your digital marketing.

At this point, it’s also worth noting…

Even if you DO solve a big painful problem for your clients, you still need to communicate HOW you solve this problem effectively.

That’s why I recommend all clients create a video sales letter to help them generate more high quality leads and appointments with their ideal clients.

Without this video sales letter it will be very difficult to communicate how you can help your clients and what makes you different to everyone else.

3. Spend money on paid advertising

This may or may not be the right thing for you and your business right now, but as soon as you have some budget to be able to spend on paid ads, you can start testing out different types of ads and start getting FAST results.

Why does paid ads get you faster results?

Because you’re spending money on paid ads, you’re not trading your time to get results.

Let’s use LinkedIn direct messaging lead generation as an example.

You could spend every day connecting to people, messaging them and generating leads.

In a month you might get in front of a thousand people on LinkedIn. That could work very well, but… if you spend money on paid ads, you could reach a thousand people IN A DAY.

So that’s why I recommend switching to paid ads as soon as you’ve already won enough clients organically and have enough of a budget to afford it.

4. Learn from other people’s mistakes to fast track your results

In other words, research what works and what doesn’t. You could spend years working on something that brings in NO results if you’re working on the WRONG things.

So a bit of research before you start a new marketing activity will save you months or even years of your life focusing on the wrong things.

Here are three primary ways you can avoid mistakes and get faster digital marketing results.

Research free information online

There’s a ton of free information out there. Just by watching YouTube digital marketing videos or reading books and articles you can learn a lot about what works and what doesn’t.

Search for different questions that you might have and then start consuming content around these topics, very quickly you’ll start to learn some things that will help you avoid mistakes and help you get faster results, because you’re learning from other people that have already done what you’re looking to do.

This is pretty much what everyone should do as a minimum.

If you want to spend a bit more money, you can also purchase some books on these topics.

Get personalized help

Now although consuming free information helps (it’s better than doing nothing), one of the biggest problems with learning info online is knowing how this information can actually be applied to your business.

So working with someone that can actually check your work, give you feedback and suggestions will be much better than just reading a book or watching some videos and then trying to figure it all out on your own.

Outsource it or get someone to do it all for you

I’m awful with construction work.

If I needed construction work done in my house, I already know I’m really bad with that stuff, and I don’t really want to spend time learning how to do it.

So while I COULD try and learn through YouTube and Google, I’d rather hire someone to do it for me, someone who’s already gone through training and knows what to do.

Here’s the reality…

There will be some things you’re really good at, and some things you love doing.

There will also be other things you don’t like doing or don’t have the time to do. For those kinds of things, just get someone else to do it.

Hiring an expert to help you avoid mistakes or do it all for you will definitely get you faster results versus doing it all by yourself.

The final thing you can do to speed up your results and start getting clients as fast as possible is to use technology to help you out.

5. Use technology to automate as much as you can

Your lead gen, follow-up emails and most of your marketing should be automated.

These days, there’s very little work you should be doing manually. If you’re doing everything manually, it’ll seriously slow things down.

Of course, you can’t automate everything in your business, but you can probably automate about 80% of marketing and sales processes.

I’m not going to go through a long list of all the different tools and automation software you can use, but one very good one that I personally use, that has saved me an incredible amount of time, is called Kartra – this is what I use myself for my own business and for clients.
